ADULTS: When working with adults I use verbal therapy unless art is requested. My extensive experience with adults includes having worked with those who suffer from PTSD, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addictions, eating disorders, and borderline personality.
ADOLESCENTS: My affinity with this age group quickly taught me that art therapy helps to increase the feeling of trust and safety. I often start with art therapy and combine it with verbal therapy throughout the process. My experience with adolescents includes working with those with PTSD, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addictions, eating disorders, pregnancy, parenting, learning disabilities, adjustment disorder and social issues.
CHILDREN: Children respond well to play therapy, art and sand tray therapy. I have successfully worked with children who were diagnosed with PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, Asperger’s disorder, depression, anxiety, reactive attachment and adjustment disorders, learning disabilities, grief and loss, school and separation anxiety and other developmental problems. When I work with children I include the rest of the family.

FAMILIES: Families are the foundation of society. My experience includes a great deal of successful work with families. Please read my page on “Families”.
